ドイツはこれまで、コロナ感染リスクの高い海外諸国を「リスク地域」（いろいろな種類あり）と認定し、ドイツへの入国を制限したり、隔離義務を課したりしてきましたが、今夜（3月3日午前0時）からすべて撤廃されます。
将来新たに危険な変異種が流行すれば、「（各種）リスク地域」に認定される国が復活する可能性もありますが、当面は対象国ゼロの状態が続きます。
今回の措置で、日本、フランス、スイス、オランダ、トルコ、ロシア、ブラジル、シンガポールなどが対象国から外れるため、これまで義務付けられてきたデジタル登録や隔離義務（10日間の自主隔離/5日目以降の陰性証明で解除可、ワクチン接種済者/快癒者は免除）がなくなります。
